The good news (in a sense) for Facebook today came when a federal judge decided to delay his ruling on the Connect-U vs. Facebook lawsuit because the judge didn't have enough infront of him to determine if the case was really, well, a case, and even seemed to get a little upset with the Connect-U people saying "Dorm room chit chat does not make a contract." The judge then went on to say "You haven't told me anything other than there's something out there."
The federal judge gave Connect-U until August 8th to get its you-know-what together so he can see if there really is a case here.
The Facebook / Connect-U saga gets even better as CNBC is now reporting that Facebook might also have a lawsuit planned against Connect-U "for allegedly trying to hack into Facebook in order to steal the e-mail addresses of users, and to try to lure them to Connect-U."
And to top it all off ... even with all the lawsuits that seem to be swirling around Facebook, the company has managed to hire YouTube's former CFO, Gideon Yu.
I guess is just a normal day in the life of Mark Zuckerberg.
